Q: What are the daily reporting and dismissal times for students?
A: Students must report to school by 7:30 AM. Anyone arriving after this time is considered late.
Regular Dismissal: School ends at 1:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and at 1:15 PM on Fridays.
Q: What are the operating hours for the General Office and afterschool facilities?
General Office: Open during term time from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during school holidays.
Student Care: The school-based student care center managed by Learning Studio Educare operates from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM during term time.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) & Curriculum
Q: What is the school’s policy regarding Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs)?
A: CCAs are offered to all Primary 3 to Primary 6 students. Primary 3 recruitment takes place at the end of Term 1, with sessions commencing in Term 2.
Commitment: Every student is allowed to join only one CCA per work year. Students must maintain at least an 80% attendance rate with valid reasons provided for any absences.
Q: What specific CCAs and distinct academic programs are available?
CCAs: ZPS offers diverse options including Badminton, Volleyball, Scouts, Choir, Chinese Dance, Malay Dance, Indian Dance, and Environmental Science.
Specialized Curriculum: The school focuses heavily on STEM sustainability through its signature Thinknovate@ZPS program.
Rules, Uniforms & Attendance
Q: What are the guidelines concerning school attire and appearance?
A: Students must wear the prescribed school uniform. For girls, the pinafore must be worn at all times (except during PE) and must be knee-length.
Footwear: Only white canvas shoes with white shoe laces are permitted. Ankle socks are strictly prohibited; plain white socks must be visible at least 5cm above the ankle.
Q: How should a student account for an absence from school?
A: Any absence must be covered by a Medical Certificate (MC) or an official letter of explanation from a parent or guardian.

Q: Where can we purchase the official school uniform and PE attire?
A: Uniforms can be purchased directly from our official supplier, Shirley Season Wear.

Q: How can we travel to the campus via public transport?
A: The campus is situated at 12 Serangoon Avenue 4, Singapore 556095. It is easily reachable via MRT networks and several public bus routes.
By MRT: The nearest major transit hub is Serangoon MRT Station (NE12/CC13). Alternatively, commuters can utilize Lorong Chuan MRT Station (CC14) which links to surrounding walkways.
By Bus: Commuters can alight at the bus stops along Boundary Road or Yio Chu Kang Road. Available bus services include 22, 24, 43, 53, 70, 76, 103, 105, 109, 133, 147, 156, and 315.
