Leave Of Absence (LOA) Scheme
To support your family's overseas journey, our LOA scheme ensures a warm re-admission for your child upon returning to Singapore. Eligible for SC/PR students accompanying parents for work or studies, applications can be made gently through https://go.gov.sg/zpsloa. Leave of Absence (LOA) Scheme
Information
The LOA scheme allows re-admission of your child (Singaporean and Permanent Resident only) to our school after they return from overseas to Singapore.
Eligibility
To be granted LOA, your child must fulfil both of the following criteria:
Our current student who is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident; and
Accompanying the parent overseas only due to the reasons below with the intention of rejoining our school after returning to Singapore:
Parents are on overseas posting; OR
Parents are attending to their business overseas; OR
Parents are going overseas for a company-related training/further studies.
Your child also qualifies for LOA if he/she has already registered for Primary 1 (P1) but will be overseas at the start of the schooling year.
Outcome of LOA Application
After we receive your request, we will process your application/renewal of your child’s LOA and will inform you the outcome of the application/renewal via your email. Please note LOA application/renewal is subject to the Principal's approval.
Support for your child
Nearer to the date on the return of your child to Singapore, do reach out to us for the necessary returning arrangements.
In the mean time, to help your child to be updated with our national curriculum, do feel free to email us at zhonghua_ps@moe.edu.sg to request for any major test and examination papers and/or access to the Student Learning Space (SLS) portal.
