Programme for Active Learning

The PAL programme at ZPS provides Primary 1 and 2 students with a vibrant platform for holistic development across four domains: Outdoor Learning, Visual Arts, Sports and Games, and Speech and Drama. Emphasizing process over product, it fosters core school values and vital social-emotional skills in a safe environment. Through collaborative activities, PAL encourages creativity and confident self-expression to nurture curious, compassionate, and confident individuals.

Programme for Active Learning

Row 1: Outdoor Learning & Visual Arts (Part 1)Students explore actively: one is blindfolded and guided over mats, two color an illustrated map on the floor, and two build balance on parallel bars at an outdoor playground.                                                 Row 2: Outdoor Learning & Visual Arts (Part 2)Creative art sessions: students sit around tables sorting dried leaves and twigs, collaborating happily to create and display their colorful mixed-media crafts.                     Row 3: Sports and GamesActive games: students play a large floor board game, navigate through an obstacle course of colorful plastic cones, and practice basketball ball-handling drills.                   Row 4: Speech and DramaTheatrical performances: students pose in animal costumes, line up to act on a stage with a starry "Shining Stars" backdrop, and receive face paint from a teacher.
